About Me

Dr. Marcia Saunders Robinson has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and Health Education, a Master of Science Degree in Project Management, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP). She has a Doctorate of Health Sciences Degree, and is a Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) with numerous Alternative Health certifications. Dr. Marcia is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.  She is also an ordained minister, and is married to Rev. James J. Robinson, Pastor and Founder of The Tree of Life Christian Ministries in Clinton, Maryland. She is the mother of two children, Nicole, and Christopher; and three grandchildren, Akkirah, Khylee and Christopher Jr.

Dr. Marcia’s passion for keeping the body and mind healthy stems from an event that occurred early in her childhood.  She witnessed her mother administering insulin injections to her father and believed that if her father had diabetes, there was a good chance she could inherit the disease.

In 2006, Dr. Marcia was devastated when her mother was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. Praying for guidance and counsel, Dr. Marcia sought ways to “naturally” restore her mother’s health and avoid dialysis.  At the time of her mother’s diagnosis, her filtration rate was down to 28%. By incorporating nutrition and alternative medicine, her mother’s filtration rate greatly improved to a constant 46%, and her mother never had to go on dialysis. Dr. Marcia’s mother lived another nine healthy years to the ripe old age of 95.

Dr. Marcia believes that by eating a whole-food based diet to nourish our bodies and living a healthy lifestyle, all of us can live longer, healthy and more productive lives. Her aim is to educate and empower others to take responsibility for their health and be proactive in caring for the one and only body they will ever have. Dr. Marcia believes that getting old does not make you sick, getting sick makes you old.
