Type II Diabetes is becoming an epidemic in the United States with 18.8 million people diagnosed with Type II Diabetes.  It is estimated that 7 million people have the disease but are unaware they have disease.  There are yet another 79 million people who have been diagnosed with Pre-Diabetes.

In healthy individuals, insulin carries sugar into the cells where it is used as energy.  For diabetics, the cells refuse to open and allow the insulin to bring the sugar into the cells.  This is called insulin resistance.  Chromium is the key that unlocks the cells which allows the insulin and sugar inside.

Why Can’t I Get Chromium From the Food I Eat?

It has been studied and found that the lack of Chromium in our soil, water, and diet has lead to increased blood sugar levels.  The body is robbed of Chromium due to our Standard American Diet (SAD) of white flour, refined sugar, and junk food. Therefore, one of the best ways to get Chromium is through  supplementing your diet.

What Does Chromium Do?

  1. Lower Blood Sugar
  2. Promote Fat Loss
  3. Increase lean muscle tissue
